Richard Höglund: Fieldwork

Oct 10 - Nov 7, 2009

Fieldwork

The origin of the field is the zero-point –

Absolute value anchored.

Invention pulls on the chain

That pulls on the anchor

That sits at the bottom

Of invention.

Philosophers invent concept. Artists invent form.

The true definition of man does not involve

any consideration

of the number

20.

The zero-anchor tugs the infinite tight

and keeps us looking at the horizon.

Our course spirals through quadrants.

Our course spirals towards the Rupes Nigra –

Water funnel falls to the origin.
